About This Product
This is an americium-241 source for radioactivity experiments that need alpha particles. The silver-palladium disc lets a substantial proportion of the alpha particles through, together with a small amount of low-energy gamma emission. Its 5 µCi activity corresponds to a nominal 185 kBq, within a tolerance of ± 50%.
