About This Product
This instrument measures objects placed on its perspex-topped stage by moving a microscope along horizontal and vertical slides and reading the vernier scales. A metal carriage slides over the machined top of the cast iron base, and a vertical slide fitted on that carriage holds the microscope. Each slide can be clamped at any position with a clamping screw, and the microscope can be clamped in a vertical or horizontal position. The base is levelled with three screws.
